Arnie's best film?
Discussion
Best in what way though?
Acting skills? Non-existent in pretty much all of them.
I loved Commando for all the one-liners etc. Remember I said I'd kill you last? I lied......
But I loved Terminator 2 just because it's an excellent film. Terminator was good, but he didn't have the one-liners (well, I'll be back to plod obviously) though did actually seem like a bland machine.
Predator was great, but that was the idea of the film more than anything.

Pumping Iron.
The bit where he likens bench pressing to having sex all the time.
End of Days is actually good.
The presence of Michael Ironside (who possibly acts with the seminal grace last effected in 'V' back in 1983) undoubtedly catapults 'Recall' to the front of the grid but Commando - supported by antipodean colossus Vernon Wells as Bennett - is Arnie's finest work, eclipsing even Raw Deal which is sheer comedy and also a work of unconstrained genius to boot.
Predator is the best film he's been in but not his best film - Predator was made famous neither by the role of our venerated Austrain Oak nor the fabulous creature but instead - the groundbreaking performances of Duke and Ventura.
Indeed, Duke's pathos eclipses the brilliance of the cast in 'Glengarry, Glen Ross' - it is a known fact that Lemon, Pacino, Spacey et al were screaming at their agents when Predator first exploded into public conscience back in '87.
I have held theatre workshops comparing Olivier's Lear to Duke's Mac and the general consensus is that the brother has it.
