Hello,

Had a bit of a bump in my E36 Coupe earlier on and the front end is looking a little sorry for itself afterwards.

I'm gonna need a new bumper but the only ones I've been able to find so far are proper MAX Power style ones.

Also, does anyone know what the bit that goes around the headlight/grilles is called?

Cheers,

Nose cone is the usual term, or nose panel. Pretty cheap new actually

Cool thanks a lot.

Does anyone know if they are universal fit between coupe/saloon/compact etc?

I think the nose is, and so is the bumper too. Bonnet, wings and indicators are different, in 2 main groups.

Nope - they are all different.

Try the classifieds section of e36coupe.com

If you want a new one try bmminiparts.co.uk

The nosepanel/grille and front bumpers are all the same for saloon, coupe and touring.

You might not be fussed, but there is a difference in the front panel if you have headlamp washers: the hole they pop out of is not a simple drill job. I'd also check fleabay & the local scrappies, if you can get a colour match saves spraying: where are you based?
ETA: also, there are older & newer versions, in which the chrome & plastic grill changes slightly - new won't fit old. So you may need the whole lot, rather than just the panel.

Not hugely fussed just as long as it doesn't look like it came with a free zorst.

It's a 1995 model so the plastic lower grille. I'm based in Southampton, have tried Silverlake scrap yard but no joy there. Anyone know anywhere else???

ETA thanks for the info about coupe/touring etc biggrin
