After 50sec the wind noise goes and you can really hear the engine!

It looks slow on vid, but I know from the time it takes to eat the main straight that it's MUCH faster than my 3R.

Just watching the speedo tells you how quick it is! Absolutely piles on the speed once he opens the taps. Very cool.

I hired this video kit from Track Club for our 100 minute race last Saturday at Brands and was so impressed with it that I've bought it. Going to have a 2 camera set up and move the dials over to the other bottom corner etc. Maybe I'll go with the Zonda dials biggrin

(its wet before you all start calling me slow!!) Spot the big flood at the bottom of paddock!

It was Chris Randalls Europa race car running in our Modified class.

It was a 57.16 lap in quali Paul.

My best in the race was a 56.4 but it was still damp and my tyres (A048's) were well below the ewar markers having done 8 races and 2 trackdays! I was feeling too tight to pay another 600 squid just for the "fun" last race of the season smile

Got your e-mail too mate. Yup, I agree about the wheel fiddling on the first time through clearways, I was just trying to feel for where the grip was (there wasn't any!) The elise is very twitchy in the wet, much more stable in the dry.

Can't wait for next season now. Lots of mods coming over winter.

Dear Greg,
The best I ever did in my M12 when a 2.5 was a 53.6 on A048s so thats a v fast time. I was doing 55s at a track day there on 2nd November but that was on 3 year old tyres which were shot to peices.
Lots of mods......hmm thats when the cheap part of the racing gets shown the door!
