Time of the Month it would seem!

My wife is doing my head in, she knows I want to go and meet our friends for a few beers but is being a complete ahole and now instead of getting changed to go out she has put on her dressing gown and made a cup of tea.

I'm gasping for a beer and she's having none of it.

She's said I'm a self centred tt and I only think of myself.

Any solutions to help me get out for a few beers??

confused

Ignore her and call a cab.

And whilst you're in the pub, wonder why a) you're going out with/married her and b) why you're such a wet blanket that you need to ask advice on a forum about it.

Enjoy your evening biggrin

Tell her to enjoy her night in front of the tele watching X Factor etc and go out and have a few beers. Easy really.

As mentioned above, ignore her and go out for a good laugh with your mates. Worry about it tomorrow.
Oh and you might want to put your phone on silent as she will probably call every half hour if you keep picking up when she calls.

edited to add - Why haven't you left yet?

Grab that cup of tea off her and smash the cup over her stupid pre-menstrual head.

I'm still working on it, none of the advice has worked so far unfortunately, she's now watching x factor and my mouth is as dry as Ghandis flip flop.

Just go out on your own.

A wise man once told me "it is easier to beg forgiveness than to ask permission"! In other words, deal with the fallout tomorrow biggrin

Man up & go out.

Stop moping around the lounge, saying "please can we go..", with that little sinking feeling in the pit of your stomach.

Jesus christ, she's your wife, not your keeper. rolleyes

Just bloody well get down the pub, she hardly needs you to hold her hand to watch the rollocks that is X-factor.
