I've been a subscriber for a few years now, always find it an interesting read.

December 09's copy arrived, and within it is a flyer suggesting I buy someone a Which? Gift sunscription for £56.25/yr. Except that i'm paying them £18.75 a quarter (£75pa) for the same thing. Oh and the gift subscription "must be used on an addition subscription, not your existing subscription product".

They'll be getting a rather terse phone call on Monday...

Just cancel your subscription. They will offer you a discount.

to the OP: not that it isn't a useful magazine - I find it very handy... just not a great xmas present in my opninion

I always find it interesting, and have always been happy to consult it when others need Best Buy advice, but yes it's not the sort of thing most people would like to recieve on Christmas morning.

Oh come on, who hasn't wanted one of those massive American things that churn out chipped ice, or one of those fancy SMEG things.

Fridges are cool. Literally.

A decent library will have back issues - so you can look up the best fridge when you are next in town
