Radio reception with rear demister on- e92

Hi, I've only had my e92 coupe for a month and with the inclement weather I've noticed that using the rear demister for the window renders radio reception pants, I suppose the aerial must be in the back window but is this a normal effect ?

This was an issue on the e46 too. Get it looked at by a dealer if it's under warranty. I think the fix on the e46 was to have a new rear screen fitted.

Aerial Diversity should correct the hissing or panting caused by the rear heater elements...What frequency are you listening too AM? Do you hear it on FM?

There was an issue with programming with E60 early on for the same issue.

E46 had 3 problems connector at screen burning, diversity unit failing and head unit failing.

Hi, thanks for the replies, glad to hear its not normal, as its on all FM frequencies.. I'll give the service dept a ring and see what they can do.
