Canon EOS (film)
Discussion
Any Canon-made lens with "EF" in the name will work on any digital Canon. If the lenses are made by another manufacturer like Sigma or Tamron, they will probably fit on the camera, but the electronic functions might not work unless you send them back to the manufacturer to be modified.
One thing to bear in mind is that, because most digital SLRs have sensors that are smaller than 35mm film, the lenses will give a 1.6 times narrower field of view. For example, a 50mm lens will give the same field of view on most digital SLRs as an 80mm lens on a film SLR.

You can also get adapters that will allow older non-EOS lenses to work (manually) on EOS and digital bodies - mentioned just in case your find some lenses with the older FD fitting.
I seem to recall that there are a couple of web sites that offer compatability tables (in terms of usableness rather than just fitment) so a search might turn something up. Best if you can specify the lens though, as previously mentioned.
