I've always liked Clive James, and here he is, an antipodean, once again redressing the balance for us.

Whatever about young people not needing sex education lessons, it seems that Mary needs some history lessons - or, as Clive James suggested, maybe she should just watch the movie "Battle of Britain".

I wonder what Sir Keith Park would make of today's British Citizenship test?
Indeed, he'd probably wonder why he and countless others bothered to risk their lives for this country.

Sir Keith would probably have to pass the test to enable him to take up residency here.
