Anyone else having trouble getting into a game? When I select 'Find Match' it just sits there searching most of the time, occasionally letting me into a bloody game! Most times I get connected via a friend who is already playing (Join session in progress). Been like this since I bought the game on Friday.

Starting to really fk me off as all I want to do is play the bd thing!! banghead

Its like there is no one out there playing it, but we know that is not the case! laugh Are the servers overloaded or what? Brief Google search tells me I'm not the only one with this problem (on Xbox and PS3). Sent a query to Xbox live support.

I know this is going to be a really generic reply and I'm sure you would have already looked at this but have you checked your NAT settings?

Not sure. It just told me every thing was connected smile

From what I've read on a Live support page it'll only tell you 'Open' if there is some kind of fault detected. You click 'More info' to see the degree of fault - Open, Moderate or Strict. I did not get the option to click 'More info' so I think nothing what so ever was detected.

Yet it still does'nt work properly!!

No it has to be set to open to work at all

Open is correct

Actually you can still play online with Strict, Moderate, and Open. The issues occur when you start connecting to players with other NAT types. If your NAT is strict, you will only be able to play with 'Open' players, and will loose the functionality of Party mode etc.

OK I do have Open NAT (as shown on the screen when searching for games on MW2)

What I was referring to before was the network test for NAT fault on the Xbox dashboard as discussed here - http://support.microsoft.com/kb/908880

I'm finding it hard to believe there is a problem with my router as its worked fine on Battlefield Bad Company for the past few months. Unless MW2 has something different about it?
