Well everything as it should actually!

Having been away for two weeks (gosh - isn't 10 degrees cold when you're used to thirty ) the Griff started first turn of the key and is running nicely thanks to a couple of PH tips

First a solar powered trickle charger (£20) seems to have kept the battery healthy.

Second the damp has been kept well at bay by Moisture Mate (about £3 each and I used two).

Excellent tips from PH

Now I'm off to get some new shocks fitted today.....

Apart from Diesel and greasy fry ups, nothing yet.

Shame you didnt make it to Racing Green on Sunday.

Not that it would have made any difference. Out of the 3 billion people there I only recognised 2!

Im gonna have to wear a name badge next time!

Went for the moisture mate meself and works a treat. I got it from Halfords for £3.99 IIRC.

Am also possibly interested in where to get the solar charger from.

I got ours from the local caravan dealers, £5.

Caravan Dealers is a good tip - I went to a big branch of Hafwits and they, apparently, had never heard of it.

It's "Bell Moisture Mate Absorber" and I got it from www.waudbys.co.uk by mail order at just under a fiver apiece

I couldn't initially remember where I got this from but it's JEM marketing which is also GEM - www.shopsolution.co.uk/gemstore/detail.asp?prod_ID=96

For £19.99 I thought it would be worth the gamble!

Solar trickle charger:
Never thought it would be useful for the third car that is always in the garage but just realised I could sticker the charger to the garage window and run a longer cable to the car! Hey Presto!

Do you leave your car out? is that why you need the Moisture Mate mate?!
Or is it for the interior?

Was regularly garaged until September, but I've moved over to my g/f's place and ... shock! horror! ... no garage!

Most painful bit is that you can't just leave the top off most of the time!

When I asked matey in the shop if he had any "Moisture Mate" he wondered what the hell I was on. Then when I said have you got any Moisture Mate mate he knew straight away
