A4/S4 door help please.
Discussion
Right guys I'll try to keep it short but will probably fail.
A while back some
ran into the side of my B6 S4 Avant in a car park and drove off, leaving me to discover the ruined off-side rear door. Anyway I didn't bother going through insurance as I couldn't take the stress or the increased premiums.
Since then I have been keeping my eye open for a replacement door from a breakers, there are plenty of silver A4's about so haven't rushed.
Yesterday I picked up a replacement door of the same colour from an A4 saloon, Audi parts informed me that the door panels are the same saloon to Avant so wasn't worried about that.
Since getting it home though I have noticed that the A4 door I have bought has manual windows (I didn't think Audi's had manual windows in 2003??????)
Does anyone know if there is going to be any problem fitting the electric windows to the new door panel or any other problems I may run into?
I will be changing every part of the door over including the glass (mine is tinted more) the trim and the door card.
Cheers
