Chaps - WOuld love your advice.

Yesterday after spenmding 30 minutes crawling throuhg London traffic, my Bathurst S decided to start misfiring and running roughly, with the check engine light lit up. It coughs and splutters when pulling away and runs rough and juddery when under load. Local dealer is goin to take a look at it - but any ideas suggestinos would be much aprreciated

cheers
Rob

Have you checked your HT leads? May just be a loose one.

That's a good suggestion. One of mine was loose and I've read of others having the same problem. Make sure the engine is cold first.

Yeah, or maybe burnt on the exhaust. But does sound like a spark lead.

You will be if you don't let the engine cool.

Yep, sometimes the leads are close if you have headers etc they can burn through the shielding.
