1930 GMT ?

How precise is that?, not just 7.30 p.m., or just 1930, BUT 1930 GMT

Do hope they find it, mind would you leave that outside a flat in Glasgow, or any other cities in the UK these days?

730 horsepower according to the news article, I think they may be slightly out there unless it's some kind of modified monster!

The article does allude to some modifications, however I wonder if they are confusing HP with cc capacity?

Total rubbish anyway, the owner must be gutted.
Just hope the thieves do not destroy it.

The comments on parking it outside a flat are a bit harsh.
He is visiting a friend, he parks the car. That does not make it his fault.

I agree. Hope the owner gets it back safe.

re my comment on parking

In fairness if I was lucky enough to own something like that it would have some sort of immobilser (or two) and I sure as hell would be picky where I parked a soft top car like that and where it was taken from whould make me think twice about parking

And yes I sincerely hope he gets in back in one piece

I doubting very much the car is real and a relica worth less than £20k if not a DAX or AK what have you. Anyway, I never had an alarm/immob on mine and left it in many places for opportunists to strike, roof off too. I suppose you sort of think it'll never happen.

Come on guys - hardly the owners fault it was stolen?

If by "leaving it in a place like dalmarnock", who here hasn't parked in a place that might have a dodgy reputation - if only for 20mins or so? We've even stopped at traffic lights in areas that might be dodgy, but we don't deserve to get car-jacked.

It's not as if he left it open/unlocked/running in an area that might have a dodgy reputation. The poor bloke parked outside his mates house, and some little neds have pinched his pride and joy. I hope he gets it back in one piece, and the little gits that stole it get caught!
