A great actor and a very nice man. I was very sad to hear this. I have the series one Callan DVD set on the shelf to my right - I'll be watching them again. I thought he was brilliant in The Wicker Man too.

I'll always remember him for driving a Mk 1 Range Rover through a greenhouse in Callan (1974). Its a sad loss, RIP.

Ah what a shame, used to love the Equalizer. Was he still married to Michele (Ooh Betty) Dotrice?

RIP Mr Woodward.

As a side note (and already mentioned in TV and Film) I may have been named after one of his characters.
