I'm trying to sell my M3 Evo quickly as I start a new job and am relocating in a few weeks.

Had the advert up for over a week and not even had a single enquiry yet. This leads me to believe I've been a bit optimistic with the pricing but when I was looking for one 6 months ago, late rust free manuals seemed to fly off the shelves! Maybe the advert and/or pictures are rubbish? I know it is potentially a bad time of year to sell. Anyone got any pointers? I'm pretty sure the first to see will buy as it looks / drives superbly.

Lovely car!

Not sure on price but I would suggest some better photos to give the car justice! You mention the car is in excellent condition etc so some photos to show it off would be a big help in my eyes.

As a recent E36 M3 purchaser, yours looks about right for price, agree with the other guys here, some slightly nicer pics would help. Looks like a really nice car, makes me wish i had waited for one like yours instead of buying the one i did.

Thanks for the advice, I'll look to get some more photos up.

Just spent £700 quid on it last month too. Would love to keep it but moving down to Cambridge and everyone appears to cycle down there! Oh, and I need money for a flat smile

agreed, thats worth 5k all day long with the amount of recent work been done if the condition is as you describe. try and get some better better pictures up, like without leaves on the bonnet wink

I'd make some minor changes..

"no rust to speak of"

Well either there is rust and people will want to know or there isn't any rust..
If it's minor then be honest..

And as has been said above - it looks like a nice clean car but the photos don't do it justice at all..

I agree with the others re the price being right. I think the only issue you have is colour (not much you can do about that) and time of year, as cars don't seem to be disappearing off the Classifieds as fast as they were a couple of months ago.

I was looking for one a month or two back but my house-buying plans suddenly accelerated and so my plans are now on hold until the new year. Otherwise I would have been interested.

I'd follow the advice given already and wait for a buyer to come along, assuming you can wait a few weeks/months. If it hasn't sold come January let me know!

ETA, wood trim may well be another turn-off. If I were buying it I would have to rip it out asap as I just don't get along with it. Not a huge job but a bit of a PITA which might be putting off potential buyers, again not that you can do much about it, other than replace it yourself.

Cheers guys, points noted. Photography clearly isn't my strong point smile

Reassuring to hear my valuation is correct though. If anyone's looking for a decent, cheap M3 Evo let me know, especially if you have something like an E30, E34 to part exchange.
