New Monaro Owner

After almost a year of looking I am at last getting...www.pistonheads.com/sales/1325508.htm ...... a red 07 VXR more miles on it than I really wanted but I will only do a couple of thousand a year , it needs a good clean and the wheels are scuffed I know it has been a topic in the past but can any one tell me the correct paint for the wheels (silver] also has the dreaded paint issue with it coming off the door handles hopefully I can get fixed under warranty with 7 months Vauxhall warranty left to run....car is bog standard at moment.... next year exhaust, headers , remap, when the warranty expires ........just hope its a good buy...and looking forward to burning some rubber !....oh yeh collecting it on Thursday.

Hiya bobchevy. Couple of thousand a year you say.......That's what I said when I convinced my missus we should have one. Even told the insurance company. I only drive mine for a few hours over the weekends and have put over 10,000 on it this year. Helluva Car!

thats a new one, i know of another 2006 red cv8, and i saw a silver 2004 cv8 drive through the city centre once.

Pentagon are still a monaro specialist as far as i am aware but i get my servicing done by monkfish performance but do as many mods i can myself.

Burton i believe sell Wortec parts.

I've just bought a set of anti roll bars, coilovers and all the suspension bushes which i'm fitting myself.

Have you already collected the car? You could come to the surrey rolling road dyno day, meet loads more like minded people.

Not collecting till Thursday and then I need to get to know the car like changing wifes/ girlfriends they may embarrass you in company untill you get to know them ! [ joke ]

am busy over the weekend of srr.....the blue cv8 was parked on a private drive........going to try and get the flaky door paint fixed under warranty at either Burton or Derby
