1/4mile fun

took the skyboat along to crail on sunday to see what it would do.

First time on the 1/4mile in about 3 years, and first time with the car. Was very slippy early on but was nice and dry/cool around 3pm

Managed a 11.02 at 130.1mph

There is a 10 in the car easily (10.9 hehe) but I dont think i'll be back trying to get it. The gearbox had a hard day with my launching! Its a circuit car after all, and isnt very suited to 1/4mile stuff!

handy fuel sampler for draining all the fuel i stupidly filled it up with in the morning! Drained about 30l and went from a 11.2 to 11.0

Nice to see a fellow 32 taking home the trophy.... So much for those fancy new automatic barges that nissan has brought out lol

I was planning to come down if only to spectate, but was stuck moving boxes to my new place....

There was only 2 Skylines there, but about 4 or 5 R35 GTR's.

Think I beat an R35 GTR by a tiny tiny ammount!

I think, I know which r35 that would have been. Lol it sounds like a monster, the way it should have sounded from the factory.

I thought more skylines would have showed up those are some quick times though, doubt i could even have a chance getting into the high 12s low 13s
