Possible Ferrari accident on M8 this evening?

Just heard from a friend that he saw a red Ferrari pinned against the barrier on the M8 near Ballieston, this evening. He reckons its spun at least 3 or 4 times on the embankment with the muck spraying up all over the overhead gantry.

Did anyone else see or hear about this?

Pased it heading out about 5.20 this evening. Just before J10 for the fort.

7.5 ton lorry was parked up further along the hard shoulder with a severly trashed front bumper on the right hand side, one police X5 and a highway van parked near the car that was in the wire fence.

To me it looked like a vx220 though?
Was a good 10-20 metres off the road, must have been a large impact to rip off and trash the bumper of the lorry and send the car off the road, along grass and through a metal chain link fence..

Not good for all involved but does everyone have to do a 4 fking mile tailback just to watch it all?

I would say it was most likely a Lotus Elise, but possibly a VX220 as mentioned. Looked too small to be anything else...
