One has to admire the way that Senior (or whoever runs the business in real life) has expanded the firm and milked the merchandising for every dollar they can.

I have given up watching the current series, Rick is the only good one left in it. And as for Junior going off and opening up a Dress Shop, the less said the better.

There have been some good episodes over the years though, and Senior's backstory is genuinely interesting (eg. "Grandma" not being his birth mother, his substance abuse problems and then building up the ironworks business into a success.)

If you have a strange desire to dress like a US trucker, just google Paul Junior Designs

Still watch it although it has very little to do with showing bikes being built anymore (which were never that great design wise anyway imo). Biker Build Off or the one on M&M with Russell Mitchell is better from that of point of view.

Strange that Paul jnr is still festooned in OCC branded clothing all the time. Admittedly that may be all he has in the wardrobe, but you would think if he was that upset and left the company you would stop wearing the stuff. And why is he still in it anyway? if Senior has any editoral rights to the show then surely he would not want them off following his son building a boutique. Not all what it seems I think.

I really liked the first few series of it but it's gone a bit downhill recently IMHO.

He has a very strange Mid-Atlantic/West Country accent, but does build nice looking bikes, not the usual chrome laden monstrosities that other custom bikes turn out like.

i have been watchin the latest series on and off. I saw one which explaned how it all occurred and what the dynamic is/has been and i must say Senior has turned into a bit of a prick. His less then bright mind seems to have been sidelined by PR men and other idiots.

God know what mikey is......>? I think Vin went off and set up his own shop too did'nt he....

Is it just me or does Paul Jr just have a logo... that is then put onto generic off the shelf shirts and hats?

Maybe I'm just confused, but I expected to see some "designs".

As for Mikey... he's funny but I think he does have actual real deep seated issues of the slightly mental kind. He's also totally surrounded by "yes men" who seem unable/unwilling to get him the help he needs.

I still watch it, but as others have said the last couple of series have gone from being about design and building the bikes to being anything but. It now seems to be more about their personnel lives than the business.
