sorry if this isn't one of the more interesting topics on here

it's apparently now available as an aftermarket accessory

has anyone bought one ?
does it really sit half-way into the console ?
is it hinged ? is it just a lid ? or a complete box ?
how much did you pay ?

thanks,
a

from a crappy lamborghini accessories brochure photo, it appears to be a lid of some sort that covers-up the tray on the centre console ( ie the one behind the handbrake and containing the power socket )

it would be good to have somewhere in the car to keep stuff out of sight

Is the SL so stripped out it doesn't have a glove box?

I think glove box was an option but my car and my friends SL both don't have one.

I've got the handbook in my safe - only place I won't lose it.

That's quite a collection you got there.

Out of interest, how does the Gallardo SL compare with the 360 CS?

not had a chance to drive the SL properly yet, obviously quite similarly focused cars.

the suspension is not has harsh on the SL but whether that will compromise the handling is yet to be discovered, the steering is heavier but after many, many miles in the strad it maybe just something i need to get used to. brakes are very powerful but a bit grabby at slow speed, almost on/off and no in-between. Interior quality and sound proofing is much better and TBH the build quality seems way ahead.

still love the strad and i am guessing the strad will remain the ultimate A-B fast road car.

LOL yes the storage is limited in the gallardo's, mine has a normal glove box not that you could fit much in it.
