I booked a Holiday through teletextholidays.co.uk, spoke to the operator and booked over the phone they were ATOL and ABTA protected.

I have just checked the credit card and they have overcharged by over £80 a person, what are my rights? I have asked Barclaycard to cancel it as i did not authorise that amount and they said they can't do anything at the moment and for me to contact them on the 22nd November once it has cleared to record a dispute!

Who should I contact, i though by using a credit card on booking covered my arse nicely

Have you contacted teletextholidays.co.uk at all or just gone to the cc company? Could be a simple error and they'll fess up and refund you immediately. Would certainly be my first port of call.

Have been unable to speak to someone other than agent at the company and basically refuse to help.

Will try and contact teletextholidays now

Just had barclays ring me and they said the same travel company also tried to then take £1000, then £100, £200, then £50 off my card afterwards!

I asked for them them to withdraw the first payment from them (that went through) as the amount was not authorised and they said there is nothing they can do and I will have to make a claim!

How bloody annoying, do I stand a good case getting all my money back seeing as they tried to rape my card afterwards by the looks of it ?
