Ebay - someone asking to view item

My mum is selling a treadmill on ebay - and someone has asked to view. She's expecting around £1000 for it, so I guess it's a fair question.

What are the PHer's thoughts on allowing a viewing?

There is a button for emailing the seller which people click on.

People then ask for viewing , simple

One assumes that an object of that size will need to be collected anyway, and it would probably be more secure for you to deal with cash rather than feck about with Paypal. So I don't see the problem really.

Just arrange by email and make sure there's someone with you when they come around.
