Keevil 14 November - anyone else there?

Apart from a near washout I have an issue which others there might be able to comment on. Basically my wheels are knackered in the sense that they look like they've been dipped in underseal!

Wondering if it is completely down the the brake pads I was using (metallic) or if anyone else found anything similar happening.

Below is a picture of a wheel after an hours cleaning!!

Tony, I was there in an old black 325i. Didn't have any problems with the wheels though, The car is a bit of a stter though lol. What car were you driving?

I was in the silver S2 Exige. Come to the conclusion that the build up is something other than just brake dust. Can;t work out what it is though.
