Of extending your house so much until it no longer resembles a house and looks more like a sample area in a builders merchants?

We have recently been looking for a house and the number of them which i can only describe as being mutilated is quite shocking, probably much the fault of 'phil and kirsty' who seem to be in belief that anything anywhere has space for an extension, even if it means extending onto an existing extension and then having to walk through 4 rooms to get to the 'Master suite'

I,m also liking when people have a garage conversion done and they realise its made a pretty pointless room so on the estate agents notes it becomes '2nd reception/5th bedroom'

haha I know what you mean. Viewed a couple of houses like that when I was looking. Made you wonder if Stevie Wonder was involved in the plans.
