FM3 Drag Racing setups?
Discussion
Hi all
Im really getting into the Drag racing part of FM3. Got my Range Rover into the 10's.
Anybody have any hints and tips on drag racing setups? Id love to get it into the 9's
Gear Ratios
Ture Pressures
ARB's
Bump/Rebound
Ride height
Diff's
etc
At the moment i have it jacked up at the back, skinny fronts, wide rears, slicks, soft rear suspension and low tire pressures.
Any help?
Nick

How far into the 10s are you?
I presume you've got your rear diff set to 100% lockup on accel and as much power directed to the rear as possible..
Hi to mid 10's.I presume you've got your rear diff set to 100% lockup on accel and as much power directed to the rear as possible..
I figured as im not a expert i will be able to become better and get into high 9's.
I have not tried diff settings or having all power to rear. I have power at about 50/50 front rear. Full rear will just wheelspin wont it? The mad Datsuns run awd dont they?

If you've got skinny fronts, why do you want your power setup for 50/50 distribution? Surely, if you're running 50/50 you want the fronts as fat as the rears? What you need to do is work the weight transfer out, keeping the weight on the driven wheels is the most important thing..
