Cut 'n' Paste Stops Working
Discussion
Last time I had this, Ted, it was that bloody MSBlast thing. I had some security patches on that prevented it from taking the whole system down, so I was able to use the PC. Every time I opened Internet Explorer, the thing went daft. No cut'n'paste, hyperlinks didn't work, silly things.
A Windows Update fixed it (daughter's fiance gets Microsoft stuff direct at work so he had the relevant disc to hand). No probs since.
Probably not, but I thought I'd chip in....

Just out of interest do all of the following still work/not work...
1) Ctrl-C and Ctrl-V
2) Ctrl Insert and Shift Insert
3) Right mouse click and cut and paste on the options, or Edit, cut and paste...
All 3 variants should work the same of course...
Trying to be of more help of course the following could be of interest...

I discovered that it's only when I use Terminal Services that it stops working locally.
Mind you I dip in and out of client machines all day long on my laptop with no problems :scratchin:

Had the same with Windows XP / Office 2003 last week, thankfully a reboot got rid of it, but I've not explanation as to why it happened
Rebooting doesn't seem to make any difference.
I think the best solution is to uninstall / reinstall and see what happens.
I'll post back if successful.

Terminal services configuration > RDP/Tcp, right click, properties. Client settings
Enable/disable clipboard mapping as required.... Configures whether you can copy/paste between your terminal services session and your local PC or not.
