but where is the best place for me to source the following:
- front disks for 1999 Speed 6
- front pads for the same

Have looked at a few websites but nothing conclusive. Anyone done the research already and willing to let me know the best prices out there.
Racing Green seem to have best disks at £125 each
Pads seem to vary from £40 to 120£!"!!!!!

Any help really appreciated

Also need to replace my handbrake cable finally......there appear to be twqo different lenghts 102cm or 122vm depending on your car. How do I find out which mine is??

Thanks guys

Looking forward to getting my hands dirty

Cheers

You're about right on the pads, as you say anything between £50 and £150+.

Brummie on these forums is the UK distributor for Carbon Lorraine pads, not cheap but they have had excellent feedback so far and my be the best available at present. Other end of the scale are EBC reds at around £50 an axle (DP3002C), I've used them and have been happy with them, but they aren't the most aggressive pad out there.

Good luck

Think your right about the discs, got mine from racing green, best price around.

I ended up getting the ferodo pads from them also at £100, sure you can buy cheaper I just went with their recommendation.
