Now the sensible part of me tells me that they would offer crap prices to buy a property from you, after all they have to make money.

However they might be an option to facilitate me buying a bigger house without the hassle of selling and a chain etc. Has anyone used them or got any experience of them??

hehe

Even if they did offer a decent rate, one problem is that similar companies have been going bankrupt (funny, that) and leaving tenants(?) with serious financial problems.

I would be surprised if their offer was over 70% of the actual market rate. IN fact, I'd almost be willing to be it would be closer to 50% of FMV. After all, they expect the seller to be desperate.

OP, I would suggest your 2nd post does not sit well with the name and shame guidelines.

Not sure the second post is warranted either.

They openly state that they offer below market value "Our offers will be below the market value in order for you to achieve a quick sale of your property. "

if repossession is nocking on the door, or you and your family have inherited a house and want your mitts on the money asap (which many people do) this is a great solution.

If i recall the offer for an immediate sale is usually approx 70%. That's 70% of todays value as well, not the one that most people hope their house is worth.

The downside is that if their offer doesnt cover your mortgage then you wont be able to use them unles syou have the cash to fund the difference.
