Due to fly out on Saturday to Mauritius. Wife and I were planning on leaving our 2 kids with the in-laws and enjoy 10 days of luxury, even returning first class (flights on points).

Just had a phone call from father in-law in Tenerife, my mother-in-law has fallen and fractured her coccyx and is in hospital.

Too late to organize someone else to look after the kids, so now we're looking for something else.

Anyone recommend a villa holiday company in the Canaries that we can use to find a last minute deal with?

Worst case we'll go to our house in France, but it's not exactly what we were planning!!

www.ownersdirect.co.uk

is what we used when booking a villa in Tenerife

Can't you arrange any other child care options? Or take them with you?

We're taking a very roundabout route to get there and back flying via various countries. It's just too expensive and complicated to add the kids in.

Villa on the outskirts of Marrakech. We were there a couple of weeks ago and loved it. Perfect weather, pool, just far enough from the madness.

Good plan, but Mrs Puggit booked a weekend there for her and her friends for next March just yesterday!
