I've used the Mitsu FXO series with both the hand programmer and the PC software.
What's up?

Trying to connect to a A1SH using GX Developer.

Downloaded the manual and following that appears Im doing everything OK.
Do you HAVE to have the project on the laptop that is in the PLC for these?
I wanted to uploaded the code to the laptop.

Been a while, but IIRC there are some protocols and stuff you need to set up so the PC finds the PLC.... but then that should be in the manual.
I haven't used the A1 series (never build anything THAT complex in my job!) but the FXOs were fairly easy.
I have GX Developer 6 (with the simulation software - such as it is) and the red multi-connector cable; I assume you have something similar?

Yes I believe I to have the same software and the red cable (or is it red hose? I guess if AB uses blue hose it must be!).

Anyway. Should get it sorted today, one way or another.
I believe Im missing out one tiny detail. When i find out what that is I'll let you know!

Thanks,

Only just spotted this - I have no personal experience of this PLC (expert on many others though - currently employing 40 PLC engineers on a system with 320 PLCs), so one of them is bound to know. I'll ask.

Problem sorted.
The laptop was faulty!

I was doing it right in the first place!

Thanks all.
