The inflation rise is due mainly to the rise in petrol prices. Anybody would think it was what moved just about everything and everybody in the country. Doh. No chance of a tax cut then?

It's inevitable that it will rise further. Watch the Haulage companie's start dropping like fly's.

The price of anything transported to shops will go up aswell.

Chancellor skunky will be wking himself to death over the prospect.

Same reason we went decimal in the 70's, in order we could be screwed by the retail sector.

Nothing to do every time they put it up a penny, that's 4.5p on a gallon or there abouts. Smaller increments will always be a bitter pill that's easier to swallow. If it was easily seen that Gallon went up by 4.5p every week, don't you think more would be said about it than already is.

Me being cynical again, this is why some garages can now easily get away with a 20p difference in the price of a gallon from another garage that is just up the road.

Awaits the knowalls that will now tell me I'm wrong and proceed to break down the costs. rolleyes

My same reasoning goes for a cars petrol usage that is still recored in MPG because the figures look better.

Thanks for the hint. But i really don't care. To many pedantic fkwits on here who have nothing better to do than trawl around looking for spelling mistakes as it is the highlight of the day in they're sad little lives. This is a general banter forum. I'm not filling out an application for NASA here.

Now. Back on topic thank you smile

Bizarre. You spell 'pedantic' correctly and 'fkwit' correctly and yet make a balls up of 'too' and 'their'. So, it would appear your issues are primarily grammatical rather than orthographical.

If 'we all know our spelling' perhaps we could stop being so lazy and spell and punctuate correctly. As a result of this apparently simple accommodation those of us who care would not have to put up with postings apparently stemming from the keyboards of shaven simians and those of you who do not would not be 'given st' about it.
