Hi Everyone, I posted this in General TVR stuff yesterday and it ended up 5 to 1 for selling the Tuscan. But the 5 were cerb owners so I thought I'd throw it open to fellow Tuscaniers!

OK, just taken my Tusacn S into TVR Centre cos the fans aren't working and they have a 2002 Cerbera as above in brilliant silver available (full hide every extra possible).

Now I will need a Cerb soon as I have 11 month old twins and will put them in the back when they are big enough.

However was going to start looking for one after Le Mans because the Tuscan is perfect, roof off back window out, for the (hopefully) hot and sunny drive there and back.

But a good 4.5 L/W R/R in a colour I like doesn't come up very often. So guys and gals any thoughts?

Has anyone gone the other way from Cerb to Tuscan?

Hey Adrian, how are you mate??

11 month old twins, eh? bet they keep you busy!

I'd make that 6 to 1 in favour of swapping (although I would say that, wouldn't I) - but suggest you are quick as Bod is also on the lookout.

Mean looking black 2001 RR at Fernhursts too - take a look

cheers mate

Hi Sean

Well yes the twins are a handful, Freddie is built like a tank! The black one at Fenhursts has gone! Have you red rosed yours yet? I think I may invite myself along with you lot this year after last years cock up! But roof off or roof on, mmmm thats the problem.

Have you found an M5 touring yet, I am also looking for something to repalce my Freelander, but I have know idea what yet. Know of any overfinch range rovers going cheap?

Putting my bias for the Tuscan aside, I follow the adage of "if you like it, buy it, it won't be there later". You have two bundles of joy that won't go in the Tuscan boot - so go for it.

(The Tuscan does have its advantages though - as you say!).

I'd agree with above. Sounds like you have to make the change sometime soon so go and drive it, that will make your mind up one way or the other. I went the other way., v v happy. Let us know.

Hi Smirnof!

I used to own a Tuscan S and now have a 4.5 Cerb...

In some ways it is much better than the Tuscan as the cruisability and stabilty are better IMHO.

I do miss being able to go roofless but the sound, low down torque and comfort are much better. I think I prefer the look in some ways. Still can't beat the front end of a Tuscan!

PS. I think I test drove your car at TVR centre in June 2001! Think it was their demonstrator...
