HID KITS

I know there have been a few threads on here about these, but, has anyone fitted any new kits lately? I have ordered some replacement super bright bulbs at the moment to see what difference they make but my mate fitted a set of 5000K HID's to his Merc and I was very impressed with the result and was thinking about putting a Kit on my Xmas list.What are peoples experience with fitting these Kits, any problems had with them, the new kits appear to be now 100% faulty free or your money back and 100% Carbus?? friendly (some sort of bulb warning ecu?)

I would really like to hear from people that have fitted a kit to a 2006 Monaro VXR recently and how they got on with them, ie, easy to fit, work a treat, worth the money and no problems with dash lights etc.

I recently fitted a 5000K set to my 07 Monaro VXR. Initially i wasn't impressed but it has grown on me, a total transformation when it comes to night driving now. The fitting was a pain in the ass i thought very limited access behind the lights and the ballast placement i found to be a nightmare. However i got there in the end, be prepared for some skint knuckles and lots of swearing haha!!

mine fitted very easily, mounted ballasts behind bumpers where it mount to brackets on the wings loads of room there, tucked away from the weather and nice and cool. 6000k on mine and looks loads better. no issues either and they have been on 2 years day and night
