The dont cover mods, you can insure a car with mods but they will only replace them back to standard if you do a claim.

Used to use them, might be worth contacting someone like greenlight or flux

i assume this is not cover for car ins but a warranty cover for parts and labour on top of car ins? seems a good price for all the mods you have altho you will only know how good when it comes to claiming on it!

they are pretty good, sometimes you have to fight them abit but the only ones I would recommend and i've had the RAC and AA ones before.

they are saying all thats not covered is tyres fuses and lights ..
all else including mods and S/C are covered ...650 is a lot but
in the last year have replaced throttle body(500) 3 o2(500) sensors top mounts(250)with labour ..plus (300) clutch diagnostics ..excess is only 50.00 with unlimited claims !! ..plus if i was to blown a piston , this would be covered ... and i can use the fish to do any work ...

Problem with warrenty companys they will try and get out of a payment any way they can, when my engine went pop before I had all the work done they put it down to long term heat damage even though the fish clearly stated it was due to detination, the agree to pay half of the rebuild which was better than nothing and more than what it cost to cover the car for a year.

Not if this was not part of the mods you disclosed when taking out the policy.

That sounds toooooooo good to be true scratchchin what stops you having £20k of mods and £5k goes wrong? they'll pay out, all for a £600 odd premium !! Would be very interested to read your policy if you get it.

just got this back frown

Mr. King,

After discussing your Monaro with the managing director he has said we can not cover the car with the mods.

It sounds fantastic however and I’d love to see a picture!

Sorry we couldn’t help this time.

Not a shocker there, if they are warrantydirect.co.uk on the internet, have been looking at their policies online, can't see any policies that cover mods that weren't fitted from the factory??

Oh well, worth ago and you just saved £600 thumbup
