hi all, been real busy with work lately so not been on the forums much. Was inspired by Jezs matt monaro and had always fancied doing something similar to the maloo but recently met some friends who run a wrapping company and they didnt take much persuading to get to work on the ute...end result - very happy me and a mean looking maloo!

That does indeed look the nuts. Did you get mates rates? If so, can I have them?

Good stuff thumbup Looks cool

No, mean.

No - evil

I still don't know how this stuff works ? Is it bubble free ? Does it go around corners ? Does it stonechip ? Can you see any of the previous colour ?

Oh, me and my questions confused

yes - bubble free. Its vinyl so some heat and it stretches - really shows up the nice lines of the car. It goes round corners very well - the ute too lol. Cant see any of the previous colour through the vinyl but a poorly done job might show at the edges maybe. The ute was originally black though so an ideal under colour

They had loads of stands doing it at the SEMA show in Vegas. Awesome stuff, but they do say to make sure the surface is smooth as it will show up any imperfections.

Yeah they could do it at your home - Have hair dryer will travel.

I wonder if they could do this with a clear sticky plastic as that you keep your orginal colour but the paint work is protected. kind of like amourfend etc... but you wouldnt have the lines..
