Pocket sized camera. Help needed

Hi all,

Need some advice on a small pocket sized camera for the wife. Something easy to use for snaps, but with a bit of quality. What are your suggestions?

Just bought a Canon Powershot A480 as an extra camera I can take to gigs etc. There are not too many functions or confusing options, that's why I bought it! I'm very happy with the results so far and with 10mp and 3.3x optical zoom I reckon this gives the best point and shoot results for the money. There are also some good reviews for it out there, I read enough to convince me to give it a go.

Just like a deal at my local Tesco. Was buying an energy saving lightbuld. Sign read £1 each. Sign by it - 5 for £1. Go figure!

I'd also appreciate recommendations on the best ultra compact for under £100.
