These morons had better not tune in to Ashes to Ashes. Or maybe if they had they'd realise its not sexist, its funny.

I just worry that 8 people complaining about something that's been shown on national TV and therefore presumably seen by millions is considered to be an issue

When I saw that ad I just knew some group or other would complain about it. Men find women attractive and vice versa. There are ads that empower men and ads that belittle men, and its the same for women.

Do these people honestly have nothing better to do.

Sex sells - always has, always will.

Most adverts convey sexist stereotypes - such is advertising.

+1

Bunch of righteous idiotic pricks who barely know their arse from their elbow.

Always been people like this though.

Years back I was working at a MOD site, and one day we had some idiotic peace protestors barracading the entrance. So had to park up, walk through the idiots (not fun), show pass to the armed guards .... stood chatting to one of the guards for a little while - he was totally nonplussed by the protests, and said "These are the sort of people that would have protested against spitfires being used in WW2". Very, very true.

And at the end of the day, who gives a st about 8 people out of a potential audience of what, 20+ million? Thats what, 0.0000004%? Totally insignificant, and they're just showing that they're numpty idiotic fker who have a total sense of humour failure.

I'm disgusted that they think it is sexist.

M&S have always shown underwear on their clothes ads, just because it is actually pointed out verbally in the ad it makes it sexist. The woman is wearing perfectly respectable underwear.

Obviously the people who complained do not know 'The Gene Genie' smile

Being a cynic, they probable work for M&S. Its extra publicity for them, this just raises the profile of the ad campaign, and the complaints will possibly be found to "not be fully justified, and the advertisment is not deemed to be sexist".

The residents of Chichester did actually write to the War Ministry about those noisy Spitfires and Mustangs at Westhampnett.

Any marketing types in or are you all already down the wine bar?

I bet the pretty girl in the underwear bit is actually aimed at women. Bet the whole advert is primarily aimed at women. M+S have a pretty good handle on who their prime market is.

Happy to be proved wrong. Especially by a pretty little thing in a nice short skirt.

Funny you should say that, "the woman in the underwear" was actually a rolemodel (She used to keep an eye on what she was wearing etc) of my exgf because they have a similar look and similar style hair.

I defonately think this advert is aimed at women.
