Marine Original on dark brown croco strap with deploynent clasp . . Matte finish.

Been after a hand wound for a while and a white faced, simple elegant watch.

Next year, one of Jorg Schauer's creations, probably a black faced Edition 14

Absolutely . . . managed shift a couple of things that have been hanging around and the incentive was to treat myself to a new watch . . . I'll photograph it as soon as it arrives as I can see it getting quite a lot of wrist time for a while

The IWC needs a service ahead of it's warranty running out as the chrono is playing up and I needed something to tide me over until the Schauer arrives probably into the summer by the time I can order it and it's made . .

ETA - until I get some shots of my own, mine will look identical this I hope.

Considered this, but it's not a matte finish, wrong strap and I want a new one

I followed exactly the same line of thinking over the summer after seeing that photo and now have a matt finished MO on a brown croc with deployment sitting upstairs
