Well, hello everyone, longtime reader new poster smile

Had my first trackday today, a novice day at Cadwell, and was pretty pleased with the whole
experience. Thrashed the bejesus out of my car in five sessions and then drove home smile

Only had one 'major' off ( and a few 'moments'! ), of course at the fastest part of the track!, managed to keep out of the barriers backwards, cleaned my pants and then got back on track with no delays smile

I think I went into every corner way way too fast all day long, but it was a lot of fun!

Big thanks to all who were there . . . I will be back for sure . .

Of course anybody with pics and /or videos from today please post, of any of the cars there.

over . . . Straker

Saw him there today – the only Lotus that I saw!

I was there on my black Triumph Street Triple (see profile pic for the bike-illiterate). It was my first trackday and had a whale of a time lifting the front end over the Mountain! Cadwell does have the potential to be utterly terrifying if you get anything a bit wrong! Glad you car lot had fun as well (just not as much fun as the bikers hanging off at 100mph+ through Coppice wink Glad you kept it in one piece, OP. Here's to many more good trackdays, however many wheels you're on. beer

thanks guys, I do remember the lotus, I was worried the damp slippy conditions early on might be a problem for the bikes but all seemed ok, I did see a bike drop it under brakes for hall bends in the afternoon though, thankfully rider got up ok . . bike looked worse frown . . . . . anyhoo

As it was my first trackday to, I invested in a CD full of photo's from the camara guys at the track, £30 which I do not think was to bad, I had to show the wife what I was upto in her car, bad idea I won't be doing that again...
