Reasonably Priced Cashmere

I bought a load of cashmere jumpers as find them quite comfy to wear. However I have now run out of them. Through shrinkage and holes etc.

Just wondering if anyone knows of some reasonably priced cashmere jumpers. The ones I bought previously were from Tesco, so looking at budget kind of stuff as they get worn for anything.

Does anyone know of anywhere?

Most of the supermarkets are banging out Cashmere jumpers at the moment for between £25-£30.

Supermarket cashmere is to be avoided in my view, since they don't wash well. The 'fluffier' the garment looks when new, the worst it will last - really good cashmere will soften with age.

it'd have to last five times longer than the "cheapo" supermarket jobbie, or three times as long as M&S one.

If you;ve got a wardrobe full of 6-8 year old pure collection sweaters that still look good then I'll shuddupamyface!

I do. I've even got a Jaeger one that belonged to my dad - he died in 2003.

It still wouldn't last long in the active kind of lifestyle I have, so would be a waste of money really.

Found an M & S discount store in York, so I will go check that out on Monday I think.

If not I will try TK Maxx, as other things I have bought there seem a good value and pretty reasonable.

The cheapest decent quality cashmere jumper that I have found is £50.

No matter where I look, I cannot find 100% cahmere less than this.
