I know we have the poll running but didn't spot another thread on it.

Went out for a few early beers, just got back and have put the Children in Need programme on. I recorded it.

I don't know whether a couple of beers is affecting me here but it really does make you feel good. Watching the Eastenders lot doing their musical bits, got a smile on my face. Just donated £50 which to be fair this month has been pretty harsh with the 8 needing 2 new cats, 2 rear tyres, an MOT and an oil service and the Z4 needing even more... has not been easy - and I may wake up regretting it.

I'm a bit of a soap watcher, The Bill is my favourite and it's great watching them get involved. Thought Peter Kay was excellent and it pains me to say it but its nice to see Peter Andre doing something decent, unlike his horrible ex-OH.

I've also just decided that I'd quite like to do something properly for charity this summer, reckon a cycle from Lands End to John O Groats is on the cards - nothing like some poor kids to put a tear in your eye.

Anyway, I'm pouring myself a small of 1968 Macduff and watching my future wife Cheryl Cole...

Fair play to you sir! *doffs cap*

I donate when I can afford it, indeed I gave Children in Need a fiver last night via my mobile, however I genuinely couldn't afford much more, or I'd be putting my own children in need! wink

Anyone prepared to really push the boat out and do something like you're considering has my utmost respect.

OK, so it's late. I'm a bit the worse for wear. Chances are it'll take me about 3 hours to type this.

But people of PH, go online and buy the Peter Kay Children In Need single. Better than that, buy the video of i-Tunes. Yes, Apple are the devil (that should appease some of you....), but it will cost you about 2 quid, amd it will make you smile - and if it doesn't then I'm very sorry, but it's only cost you £2. But trust me, if you don't at least break into a small grin at some part of it then I do have to question what exactly is running through your veins.

And you might just be able to help someone less fortunate than yourselves. Drivel I know, but it's true.
