Guys

Can anyone tell me how other Ultima owners have installed dash equipment in the centre of the dash when the air con system in my case restricts any access at all. It was factory installed.
Ive seen gauges buttons, no end of things.

I expect you mean restricted by the ali panel which hold the AC controls. It should be possible to release this and move it to one side.

steve from what i can gather its the black box that contains the fans etc mounted on the chassis cross rails. can this be moved.

Mark, have a look on Tony's site, ultimagtr640.com..... lots of build photos on there with the same aircon set-up as yours and central gauges,switches etc.

Whats the problem??

It could be moved but if fitted in the factory position should not be far enough back to stop you fitting and wiring gauges. If you wanted to fit something like a radio or screen then that would be a problem. From memory I don't think it can go much further forward without fouling the wiper motor.

Confusion over, Misunderstanding between my guys and i. We were simply hitting the lower ally plate that holds the switches as you correctly guessing enough room above it. thanks.
