Looking to get rid of my Camry shell next Saturday.

Any suggestions where to take it in Lanarkshire for the best price or do all scrappys give the same, based purely on the weight?

Steel prices are low so dont think you will get anything. I didnt when I took our venerable Nissan Primera in last month.

Depends where you are I guess. Last car I took in was a Calibra - got £80 quid for it, not depolluted.

Some collection guys our way are paying £120 a car - any car!

Price of scrap cant be that low!

scrap steel at £90 per tonne is nearly as high as its been over the past 5 years, seen it as low as 60 but never higher than 110, china is building, hence why price is back to where it should be
