Hello midlanders

I'm a refugee from the Thames Valley area and was wondering if anybody here was near this car?

It's 90 something miles away from me and I wouldn't mind getting a PHers view on it to save me a trip up the M40 smile

If you could that would be great! I've emailed them. They ignored me. I've called. The guy didn't really know much about it.

Essentially I want to know if it's a rust bucket or not! Looks like there is some rust on the rear arches, but I can't tell for sure. Would also need to check the sills.

I doubt it. Also another point is the quality of the perspex in the roof, if it's clear or not.

If I'd seen this earlier I'd have taken a look for you. The fact they ignored your email would put me off. obviously it's an Eunos which will affect the value.

Ok mate I went to view this car today and its a £500 touch not worth anymore imho.

Its had a paint job and a poor one at that, the paint is dull and flat.

All of the alloys are in very poor condition, the front o/s covered in overspray.

I think it has had a front end knock looking at the panel gaps and the differences between n/s and o/s.

There is serious rust on the base of the n/s 'a' pillar.

I didn't hear the engine as the guy didn't have the keys for it????????????

Sorry it wasn't better news mate, but if you see anything up this way again just give us a shout.

Thanks for doing that, saved me some money on the fuel!

I spoke to the guy today and he said that the car was in really good condition and had no rust on it.

Should you ever need a favour down here, just give me a shout and I'll be more than happy to help beer

It seems to be the norm for dealers selling Mk1's to big 'em up when they're actually rattly old nails. Wasted two mornings going to see "mint" cars only to find something that really wasn't worth 10p.
