hello everyone here in the bm fourm,,, tomorrow i'm looking at a clean (i think) but high miles 520, , the year is 91, it's for shed money but is there anything terminal that i should be on the lookout for,, thank you,,

They are very well-made cars, but even the best of them would be prone to rust now. So apart from the usual stuff like accident damage and oil leaks and so on, try and make sure that the car doesn't have any structural rust.

looking at it later,, any week spots for rust,, ave a feeling this will figure, its at a seaside town and all

Bushes on the rear spring hangers get ignored. Water pump at 90k, sometimes it goes and takes the head gasket with it. People replace the HG only to find it goes again, they don't think about checking the water pump(£35+fitting).
If it's a 91 please don't buy the 12 valve they are ste, only buy the 24v. 91 was the change over year.
