I have Ikea venetian blinds throughout my flat.

I'm having a nightmare stopping the wooden slat at the top, from falling on the floor. (The slat that covers the metal bit at the top of the blind).

Ikea supply sticky velcro pads but these are useless. I've tried 'No More Nails tape' too
Short of Aralditing the slat on, I'm not sure what to do. Any ideas?

Try a dab of silicon sealant, at least you'll be able to get it back off.

I've got blinds throughout my house - I just bought a load of self adhesive velcro strips. Loads on eBay.

Yep, mine fall off too. When they fall off in the middle of the night (onto a solid wood floor) it scares the sh!t out of you.

Haha, that's happened to me a few times. Obviously, the one that falls down the most is the one above my bed!
