Problems with my Audi A4 i've just purchased?

I've just bought an Audi A4 tdi sport estate 51 plate with 114K on the clock. When i was buying the car the airbag light was on and the garage then plugged it in and explained that it was a wire that could of been knocked under the seat when it was valeted. Since then the light has came back on which was after my wife moved the seat forward! Also there seems to be a problem when accelerating, as if there is a turbo type of lag! Say in 4th at 40 you put your foot down and it dose'nt respond for a few seconds also in 2nd after 1st it does the same thing but not all the time. And finally there is an occasional burning rubbery type smell in the car for a few seconds usually after its started then it goes! If anyone has an idea about these problems it would be great to know that i have'nt bought a lemon!!!!

That'll be the turbo lag then?

Sorry to sound dumb, so is this normal as its the first diesel turbo i've owned!!?

This is turbo lag in a 2.0 tdi A3. Foot down below 2000 rpm and nothing fast happens, after 2000 rpm a big surge of power comes. But it's not intermittent.

The airbag/seat thing is quite common. Had the same on my old 2001 A4.
