Christ, how deep is it? If you have to issue anymore than a spare pair of socks, you really have got problems.

Plenty of threads on here about sorting it out. Check inside the door card, door seals etc.

As a hack on an old car I had (Mk3 Cortina) I just drilled a hole in the floor biggrin Not that I recommend that!

Sorry to hear about the water ingress, bound to be the rubber door seals, sometimes they are not to good on all sorts of cars, the water is getting over the first lip, see where water collects when you open the door, and make a small cut in the rubber and some good quality mastic to guide water away towards the sill

well i could see a thin water trail on the trim leading from the bottom edge of the door just hard to believe it could cause that much water

Either you've worn well, or the car was quite old when you had it. My dad had the same problem with a new MkIII in 1974. After countless times in the garage, with mechanics hosing the car down without finding the leak, he resorted to 1/4" holes in the floor. smile

Vxhell had my cv8 for around 10 days total trying to fix the leaks all the door seals etc what has come closest is builders expanding foam applied whilst up on a ramp

on mine it came in through the seals to a degree but mainly up through gaps underneath it would suck up underneath the body when on the mway in the wet still a tiny problem now but nothing compared to the buckets before

on one of the worst days there was 3-4 inches of water in the rear footwell
