Can anyone help me name a film please?
From what I can remember, it begins with, or the plot twists on, a car bomb blowing up with the main character in the car. Throughout the film I think you think the character dies, but at the end it'd revealed he didn't...and that's changes your perception of what happened in the rest of the film. I think. I may have made that bit up.
For some reason I have De Niro in mind as this character...
Long and short is: car bomb kills someone but it's then revealed it didn't..
not much help, but I've seen PH work wonders with less...

In the film I'm thinking of the explosion happens in front of a building with the person inside the car...actually though...I think there might be something like the person has been tipped off his car is booby trapped and he perhaps sets it off knowing that...sort of a suicide attempt by proxy. But that might be b
