I'd try Falkens, thats what my folks got on their MGZTT.
I'd try camskill as they worked out about £40 cheaper for 4 on the ZTT than blackcircles.

Quoted for amusing wording wink

Try Avon ZZ3s from Elite Direct, decent rubber and well priced. Elite are the cheapest I've found them.

Tryeshopper on the net. You buy the tyres and get them fitted at your local National Tyres a few days later (price included).

You get what you pay for. Do you have 8J rims? or 8.5?

if you have 8J you should be able to get 225/40/18 which will save a few quid. 235 is pointless in a FWD hatch IMO.

They sound like old style RS4s and they will be 8j.

On the inside of the wheel is the J number.

225's will be fine.

I've just put a couple of Kumho Ecsta's on my A4 (235/40 18) as I was getting pissed off at £180 a tyre for Conti CS3. They were £125 fitted, but are rated at 150mph+. They'll be cheaper if tyou don't need that speed rating. I'm very impressed.

If they do them in the right size try Vredstein Ultrac Sessantas. They get very good reviews, I have them on my A6 quattro and they are much better than the OEM Pirelli's and better than the Dunlops that I fitted after the pirellis. They are also a very good price.

Falken 452's are good, I have these on the wife's Cupra.
